Stardust Stolen Magic

       BOOK REVIEW

The main characters in this book are definitely Lucy, Ella, Faye and Allegra. They are all fairies that love to explore.

Lucy, Ella, Faye and Allegra are all stardust spirits. They all have different powers. Lucy finds out that she has many more powers than the others do. She finds that she can stop any object in mid-air; she can use a shield and her fire together as well as using fire on its own.  When Lucy’s Mum, Mrs Evans, tells Lucy that a new next door neighbours has come, who called Miss Graves and Maggie are she has to go over with one of her best friends called Allegra. They sense that someone or something in the room is a dark stardust spirit that means that they steal other stardust spirits dust and puts it in an orb. They think that an old woman called Miss Graves is a dark stardust spirit but they were wrong…

I really liked that they thought that Miss Graves was a stardust spirit, but she was not. My favourite part was when they fought the dark stardust spirit and they got what they deserved: they won by using their powers together.

The moral of the story is teamwork leads to success.

This book is absolutely amazing and made me wish that I was a fairy as well. This book made me feel amazing that I am able (and some people would not be able) to read it and that my school library supplies some many amazing books. I realized that some people are not as lucky as most of us are.

I would recommend this book to the age group of 6-8 years old.

Tilly's Midnight Fox

          BOOK REVIEW

REVIEWED BY SOPHIE THOMPSON

The main characters are Tilly, Mum, Dad, the new born baby and, of course, Granny. Tilly really likes exploring her new garden.

Tilly and her Mum and Dad move to a bigger and older house, but when they find out that mum is ill when she is having a baby, she is in big trouble. Mum has to go to hospital while granny is coming to look after Tilly because Dad stays at the hospital most of the time. Before Mum goes, Tilly finds a girl about the same age as herself. Tilly’s new-found friend is called Helen. When Tilly starts at her new school, she is very happy. Then she gets a bit ill and has to stay at her house. While she is off, Tilly sneaks into the garden. Tilly finds a fox that leads her into Helen’s garden, where Tilly finds Helen up in her tree house. Then Tilly’s Mum has the baby and it is so sweet!

I liked the bit when the baby is born because everybody is happy again and Mum isn’t ill any more.

I liked most of it but
I would recommend this to 6-7 years olds who like reading and are good at it.

There were a few too sad bits like when Tilly loses little fox, her toy fox.

This book was happy and sad. It is happy because a baby boy is born, and sad because Tilly’s Mum gets ill.

I learned that many people do not respect God’s creations.
